Town Tree Information

The Town of Bridgewater is responsible for all trees within the street right of way and no healthy trees shall be removed within the right of way unless they are causing a safety hazard or damage to private property.

The Town of Bridgewater has a tree committee which deals with healthy tree removal requests, trees that are damaging private property and tree trimming. The committee meets on a as need basis. If there is a dead or unhealthy tree located in front of house which should be removed or would like to take an issue to the tree committee please contact Justin Penny at 541-4370.
