Architecture:   

Gable roof with a small hip roofed dormer next to a large gable roof section that extends protrudes from the roof.

The roof extends over the veranda.

The glassed-in veranda is likely not original, but the rest of the building remains quite intact.

History:   

In 1899, Ida Adams, a boarding house operator, purchased the lot for $200.00. She did not have the house built until 1900, which was after the Great Fire in 1899, which wiped out many buildings along the nearby King Street. It ceased being a personal residence in 1917.
