Classical trim elements around the doorway, windows, and corners are all intact. The house has a triangular gothic window on front-facing gothic dormer with returning eaves. Hood moulding is present over some of the windows.

 

History:   

 

 

The lot sat vacant until it was purchased by Solomon Wentzell in 1874. Wentzell was a blacksmith and owned the home until 1949 when it was sold to John S. Lowe. It remained in the Lowe family for several generations.
