|Built: 1914||Builder/Architect: Unknown|
This foursquare home has a square plan with a truncated hip roof. On the front side of the roof stands a hipped roofed dormer, as is typical in the foursquare style. The home features wide bargeboards and a portico in the back.
Robert and Kenneth Dawson (of the prominent Dawson family of merchants) sold the lot to Simon Smeltzer (a farmer), who likely had the home built. Capt. Albert Mailman (a master mariner) owned the home from 1925 to 1932.
