Architecture:

  • Decorative shingles and siding textures animate the exterior wall surface. As well, an extended bay at the front seems to have replaced the typical Queen Anne tower. A truncated hip roof with gable roofed wings has been added, as well as a semi-enclosed octagonal gazebo which is attached to the veranda.

 

History:

  • This house was built by Henry Sorette around 1890. The home has been added to over the years. It has been used as a residence, a doctor's office, a restaurant, and a real estate agency.
