History:

  • Rev. Stephen March (the home's first owner) was an early Baptist minister in Bridgewater. He lived next door at #24 Alexandra and raised a family there. In 1906, he built this second house but died before it was finished. The house was passed on to his son, S. Edgar March, then in turn, to Edgar's wife Eleanor, but left the family in 1915 when it was sold to Paul Garber.
