Architecture:

  • This turn of the century house has some elements of Greek Revival with its gabled roof, returned eaves, centralized chimney and molded window hoods. Its turned posts under the eaves of the veranda were replaced.

History:

  • Joseph P. Miller purchased the lot, of which this home was only a portion, in 1884 from John Cook. According to assessment records, Miller had this house built in 1900. John P. Miller was a prominent Bridgewater farmer who owner much property throughout the town.
