Architecture:

  • This large turn of the century house has a hip roof and original first floor windows. It also has a wide board which encircles the house, giving definition to the first and second storeys, the back addition with its shed dormer and the bracketry below the eaves.

History:

  •  J. Arthur Miller built this house in 1900 and this was his farmhouse premises until his death in 1938. He was a prominent Bridgewater farmer who owned much of the land in this part of LaHave Street.
