Address: 792 LaHave St.

Heritage Status: None
Built: c.1880 Builder/Architect: John Rafuse
Style: Maritime Vernacular

Architecture:

  • This simple gable roofed house is somewhat reminiscent of Greek Revival. It has gable orientation toward the street and molding around the windows. As well, this house has a stone foundation which indicated construction at or before the turn of the century.

History:

  • This house was probably built for, and quite possibly by John Rafuse around 1880. This seems to be confirmed by the A. F. Church Map (c. 1883) which identifies a house in this location under the name of "J. Rafuse".
