The Town of Bridgewater, Municipality of the District of Lunenburg & Town of Mahone Bay hosted a public presentation from Marathon Human Rsources Consulting Group Ltd. regarding a review of Regional Government & Shared Services on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Mahone Bay Fire Hall.

The 3 local government units hosted a series of public meetings which provided an opportunity for members of the public to provide input and ask questions. The meetings were held at 5 locations within the municipality on various dates. They were: January 23, 2012  Mahone Bay Fire Hall (184 Kinburg Street, Mahone Bay); January 24, 2012 at the Pinehurst Community Hall (3485 Hwy 10, Pinehurst);  January 25, 2012 at the Riverport Community Centre (79 Lower laHave Road, Riverport); January 26, 2012 at the Bridgewater High School Cafeteria (100 York Street, Bridgewater); and January 30, 2012 at the Petite Riviere Fire Hall (18 Petite Riviere Road, Petite Riviere). 

Bridgewater Town Council will make a decision on the report at its February 27th, 2012 public Council meeting.
