Park and Athletic Field Bookings

Fields close in November and open again in the Spring, weather dependant.  We do not take bookings during the winter season; reservations can be made again mid-April.

Insurance 

Most events hosted on Town property require general liability insurance. If you or your organization already has insurance, please request from your insurance provider a certificate of insurance that has the Town of Bridgewater listed as an additional insured, with coverage of at least $2 million. The address for the Town is 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, NS, B4V 3X9.

If your organization does not have insurance, but we determine that insurance is required based on the activities you are carrying out during the booking, you have options for obtaining what is required.

1. Check with your personal insurance company. Often, they will be able to supply you with what you need as an add-on to your current policy.
2. The Town of Bridgewater offers a Municipal Facility User General Liability Insurance program. We are happy to offer you a quote to cover the insurance on your booking/event. We are able to do one-offs as well as seasonal insurance coverage.

FIELD USAGE FEES

Adult Sports Users
$20 + HST per hour / $18 for May &/or if Invoice paid by June 1
                               
Minor Sports Users: $5 + HST per hour.
