Address: 224 Aberdeen Rd.

Heritage Status: None
Built:  c. 1907
Builder/Architect: Probably Henry Sorette

  • This unique and very long building has a slightly gabled (almost flat) roof and a veranda adorned with decorative moulding under its eaves and turned posts and railings. Also of note is the side bay and back wing which probably is a later addition.

  • This lot was purchased by Albertina and Lena R. Deihl in 1907 from Cassandra Ernst for $125. This house was built for them shortly thereafter, possibly by Henry Sorette, a contractor, who built many houses in this area.
