Architecture:

  • This early 20th century house has elements of the Four Square style with its hipped roof, large gable dormer and large veranda. It also has a central pediment above the doorway, giving it definition, front bay windows, returned eaves, a side ell and the turned posts on the veranda. This house has been well cared for and remains quite intact.

History:

  • This lot was a portion of the land purchased from the heirs of Joseph P. Miller in 1906. According to assessment records, Miller had this house built in 1912 and then sold it to his sister, Anna Miller in 1913 for $400.
