Architecture:

  • This hipped roofed building is typical of the period of 1912-1920, and remains quite intact. Note the combination of the hipped dormer on the front and shed dormer on the side. Also note the veranda with its lyre-like balusters and turned supporting posts.

 

History:

  • The home was likely originally owned by W.H. Owen, a noted barrister, U.S. consular agent, and master of the Supreme Court.
