  • This early 20th century hip roofed house has three large gable roofed dormers and a side ell. There is also a pediment in the veranda roof which gives definition to the entranceway. Also note the bay windows on the first and second storey, the original first floor windows and veranda with its turned posts and bracketry. 



  • The home was likely originally owned by W.H. Owen, a noted barrister, U.S. consular agent, and master of the Supreme Court. Owen bought and sold many properties in town, and it is unlikely Owen ever lived here himself.
