  • This turn of the century house was a unique hipped-gabled roof and return eaves. Its veranda may be a later addition. The half hipped gable roof was poular in Germany and brought to Bridgewater. As there are more than one house of this exact style, it is safe to assume this was from a plan popular with a local carpenter. 


  • The original owners are Arthur and Rebecca Manning. Arthur Manning was a carpenter between 1890 and 1904.
