Architecture:

  • This two and half storey house has some elements of the Greek Revival style. Note the gable roof, return eaves, three bay façade and centralizeid chimney at the peak. Also of interest is the small side dormer with its gable roof and front veranda. This house has had some replacement windows added but is otherwise intact. 

History:

  • Arthur W. March, a stonemason purchased this lot in 1908 for $200 and appears to have built this house shortly thereafter. Arthur W. March resided in this house until 1946 and his daughter Ruth then owned it until 1965.
