Architecture: The house had central projecting dormer with pedimented gable and an unusual flared roof line, and capital mouldings on corner boards. The house has nice corner boards and a nice veranda with central doorway.

History:
This house was built for John L. Nelson around 1880. It appears on the A.F. Church map of Lunenburg County dating from 1883. On the deed, Nelson is described as a "gentleman", who bought the lot for $375. Source: Built Heritage Files, DesBrisay Museum |
