Architecture:
- Small, compact gabled house with Greek Revival elements
- Gabled end, facing street, has projecting window and door bays, each trimmed by moulded panels and truncated hipped roofs
- Each side of house has two storey bays, each with hipped, gabled roofs
- Windows retain prominent, moulded goods, and looks quiet unaltered from original state
- Unfortunately re-covered in vinyl siding

- Built c. 1903 by Captain Albert Mailman, mariner and merchant (as per Mrs. Karl Mailman)
- Karl Mailman (owned 1923-1935, after Albert) was locomotive engineer
