Our Mayor and Town Councillors receive many requests for meetings on topics of interest to them and the Town as a whole. The Mayor and Council's time is often booked well in advance; however, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
There are times the Mayor is away from the office for a period of time. In that event, the Deputy Mayor or another Council member may step in for the Mayor at scheduled meetings.

MAYOR AT EVENTS
The Mayor attends many special events, ceremonies, and celebrations in the Town and surrounding areas. If you would like to invite the Mayor and/or Council to your event, please request their attendance by contacting the Executive Assistant's office.
Be prepared to provide as much information as possible, including date and time, location, level of formality, and the expected role of Mayor and/or Council.
WELCOME MESSAGE
Letters of welcome or greeting may be issued to groups, institutions, organizations, or businesses for the following: conventions, trade shows, festivals, cultural and sporting events. Submit your request at least two weeks in advance to the Executive Assistant's office.
AWARDS, MILESTONES & PROCLAMATIONS
Per Policy 71 of the Town of Bridgewater, the Mayor may acknowledge certain birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, or awards with a certificate presentation when a request to do so is received. The Executive Assistant prepares the certifcates. You you can contact her via email at
