Residential Tax Rate -- $1.85 per $100 of Assessment
Commercial Tax Rate -- $4.07 per $100 of Assessment
Mulitpurpose Tax Rate -- $0.06 per $100 of Assessment

Residential & Land-leased Communities
One Dwelling Unit $565 plus $565 for each additional dwelling unit.
Hotels/Motels
Base Charge $1,220 plus $110 for each guest unit.
Long Term Care Facilities
Base Charge $565 plus $377 for each patient bed.
Large Industrial
Base Charge $54,000.
Educational, Large Grocery, Car Wash & Ancillary Car Wash
Base Charge $4,800.
Other Commercial, Shopping Centres, Institutional, and Industrial Users
For the first user $1,220 plus $1,220 for each additional user.
Hospitals
Base Charge $21,850 plus $115 for each patient bed.

Town of Bridgewater tax and water bill payments must be received by the Town Office by the due date to avoid applicable interest charges. If you are paying by mail or through your bank, please allow enough time for your payment to reach the Town Office by the due date. Interest will not be adjusted if received by the Town after the due date. We encourage you to pay your tax and water bills by the due dates to avoid our collection procedures. Interim tax bills for approximately half the year's taxes will be mailed in April, due May 30, 2025. The final bill for the year will be issued in August, due on September 29, 2025. The interest rate is 1% per month (12% annually) and will be charged the first day of every month that the account is in arrears
