Sustainable Bridgewater is the name given to a 2 year planning process.  The Planning Department has been given the task of designing and implementing the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP) for the Town of Bridgewater.  This website will report on the progress toward completion of our ICSP, and provide a resource for people interested in sustainability.

We encourage people and organizations in Bridgewater to learn more about this project, and to become involved in it.

The Town of Bridgewater would like to extend a warm invitation to all members of the Bridgewater community to attend our Sustainable Bridgewater public events. It's important to us to involve and consult with as many members of our community as possible in order to develop a Sustainability Plan that is supported by this community.  Check out these pictures from July 16th, community members discussing ideas for making Bridgewater a Sustainable community.

Sustainable Bridgewater is seeking local businesses, organizations, and groups to be our educational and consultative "Partners" in developing the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan.

Partners will provide us with their time and energy during consultations over the course of the planning process (approximately 2 years).  The details of your commitments are written in a “Sustainability Partnership Agreement”, which will be signed by all our Partners.  This project is being funded by the Town of Bridgewater, and there will be no financial costs associated with participating as a Partner.
