133 Dufferin

Address: 133 Dufferin St.

Heritage Status: None
Built: 1898 Builder/Architect: Enam Corkum (suggested)
Style: Greek Revival

  • It is interesting to compare this house with the adjacent one at #129 Dufferin, which was presumably built at the same time for Enam Corkum. This house has been completely obscured by modern siding. There are now two doors where there was presumably originally only one and a large 2 storey, 2 unit rear addition has not enhanced the integrity of the original house.

  • Registered deeds suggest that Enam Corkum, a photographer, developed this house and #129 at about the same time.
