42 Jubilee

Address: 42 Jubilee Rd.

Heritage Status: None
Built: 1884 Builder/Architect: Most likely built by William Tutterman and Samuel Eisenhauer
Style: Gothic Revival

  • Now highly altered, this simple, small house nevertheless still exhibits some characteristics of its age. Note the gothic dormer and lancet window and the vestiges of the original fenestration on the gable end.

  • Shown on the church Map c.1883, as "B. Eisenhauer". The original owners are William Tutterman, a seaman and Samuel Eisenhauer, a rigger who most likely built the house. Charles Clattenburg, a blacksmith, purchased the lot in 1898 at a price of $100 that was probably a token only.
