Architecture:

  • This gable roofed house retains its original character despite alteration and modern siding. It has the intact original fenestration,wide corner boards and returned eaves. Unfortunately the house has lost its mutipaned sidelights around the main door.

History:

  • Joshua Cook purchased this lot from his father, Henry Cook in 1866 and built this house shortly thereafter. This house has passed through three generations and therefore has strong connections with the Cooks and the Cookville area.
