The house has a truncated hip roof with a widow’s walk with nicely turned balustrades and hip roof dormers in the roof. The veranda is also detailed with turned balustrades. Originally, the veranda would not have been closed in.

History: 

 

 

Winfred T. Ritcey was the President and General Manager of Acadia Gas Engine, manufacturers of marine engines. He was also the 7th mayor of Bridgewater, 1919-1920.
