Volunteer Recognition - 2026!!

Do you know an outstanding volunteer? If so, help us celebrate them during National Volunteer Week, from April 19 - April 25, 2026!

Submit a Volunteer Award Form to us by  Friday, March 13, 2026.

The week is an opportunity to celebrate the vibrancy and impact of volunteerism in our community. To recognize our volunteers, the Town of Bridgewater is calling on its residents and community groups to nominate volunteers for two streams of awards: 

1) Provincial Volunteer Awards 

These awards recognize achievement and volunteer services by individuals, youth and families who, through their efforts and/or accomplishments, have enhanced the image of, or have made a significant contribution to the Town of Bridgewater. 

The recipient(s) of this award will represent our community at the Provincial Volunteer Awards Ceremony held in September. 

To nominate someone for a provincial award, please fill out the nomination form:

• Representative (Individual, Youth or Family) Volunteer Nomination Form - Recognizes an individual, couple, or group who have made a significant contribution to our community through their volunteer efforts.

2) Local Appreciation Awards 

• Corporate Volunteer Award Nomination Form - Recognizes a corporation that has made a significant contribution to our community through employee volunteerism.

We're asking all volunteer organizations to think of two standout members from their board or committees who you would like to see recognized for their efforts. Local Appreciation Award recipients will receive a special thank you gift from the Town.
