Have your say in Bridgewater’s future

Since 2019, the Town has been preparing for the new Exit 12A interchange — unlocking 125 acres of land for future development.

On August 11, 2025, Town Council is holding a Public Hearing on proposed changes to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law that will shape the new Bridgewater Business Park lands. Council will also be considering whether to approve or deny or defer the proposed zoning changes the same night.

Proposed Zones:
• Highway "Service" Commercial (C9) – Retail, service and travel-oriented uses
• Highway Display Commercial (C10) - Display retail
• Light Industrial (M2) – Business and industrial opportunities
