Take notice that on Monday, October 27, 2025, Town Council of the Town of Bridgewater passed a resolution approving text amendments to the Town's Land Use By-law to include survivors of gender-based violence as a population group served under “Residential Care Facility, Home for Special Care, Group Home or Small Option Homes”.
In accordance with Sections 247 and 249 of the Municipal Government Act, an aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or the Council of an adjacent municipality may appeal Council's decision to the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board. Notice of appeal must be served on the Board within fourteen (14) days of the date of this advertisement.
