BIG EX PARADE TRAFFIC REMINDERS

The Town of Bridgewater wishes to remind the motoring public that the South Shore Exhibition Parade takes place this evening in Bridgewater and, as a result, motorists should be mindful of a number of things:
➡ Street closures will begin around 5 p.m. and are expected to last until after 8 p.m.
➡ Traffic volumes in and around Bridgewater will be high late this afternoon, so give yourself lots of extra travel time and be extremely patient and cautious to avoid any mishaps on the road.
⛔ Victoria Road from St. Phillips Street to High Street is closed due to storm damage.
⛔ Victoria Road from High Street to Wileville will ALSO be closed beginning at around 5 p.m. to through traffic.
➡ For folks looking to travel to south end Bridgewater during the parade or to travel southward beyond Bridgewater, traffic will be detoured via St. Phillips Street > Logan Road > William Wile Road >Century Drive and Highway 3 in Hebbville during the parade.
⛔ King Street, between Veterans Memorial Bridge and Starr Street, also remains closed indefinitely because of storm damage.
