NOTICE OF ADOPTION - Chapter 220-Marketing Levy By-Law

TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 168 of the Municipal Government Act, Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater, by resolution on February 24th, 2025, gave second and final reading to adopt the New Chapter 220-Marketing Levy By-Law which would allow a levy imposed on persons buying short-term accommodations in the Town of Bridgewater in order to generate revenue to support the hosting and attracting of events to the area.

This By-law comes into effect on April 1, 2025.
