Bridgewater Town Council is considering amendments to Section 5.1.1 of the Land Use By-law to clarify type and location of structures permitted in the abutting yard requirements for commercial zones. If approved by Council, accessory or temporary structures will be permitted within the abutting yard, subject to the existing requirements for an effective vegetative buffer and opaque fence.

A Public Hearing will be held by Council at 6:00PM on April 14, 2025, in Council Chambers at Town Hall (60 Pleasant St, Bridgewater), at which time oral presentations and written submissions concerning the proposed amendments will be considered. This is the final opportunity for public input.
