Bridgewater Town Council is considering amending the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to permit single- and two-unit dwellings in conjunction with commercial uses in the Historic Downtown Commercial (C1) Zone. Council is also considering entering into a development agreement to permit a two-storey building at 440 King Street, containing commercial uses and a single-unit residential dwelling.
A Public Hearing will be held by Council at 6:00PM on April 14, 2025, in Council Chambers at Town Hall (60 Pleasant St, Bridgewater), at which time oral presentations and written submissions concerning the proposed amendments will be considered. This is the final opportunity for public input.
