Bridgewater Town Council is considering amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to allow for the rezoning of 1233 King Street from Single Unit Residential (R1) to Medium Density Residential (R5).
At this stage, the meeting focuses solely on the proposed redesignation and rezoning to R5, which would enable the applicant to pursue a multi-unit residential building on the subject property.
Once more detailed information and drawings are submitted for the Development Agreement application, a second public meeting will be held to inform the community about the proposed development and provide an opportunity for public input. Details about that meeting will be announced at a later date.
