📣 BILLING FOR SERVICES DURING CANADA POST STRIKE
The recent strike by Canada Post employees has affected mail service across the country.
Here in Bridgewater, the strike means that water bills issued at the end of September to Public Service Commission of Bridgewater residential and commercial water customers will not be going out via the mail this quarter. Water bills are still due and required to be paid. The due date for your September water bill is Friday, October 31, 2025.
In order to avoid incurring interest on your water bill account, there are a number of different ways that you can get the balance owing on your account and make payment:
➡ You can sign up for a Town of Bridgewater e-billing account. For details, visit www.bridgewater.ca/ebilling or give us a call at 902-543-4651 for more info.
➡ You can come to Town Hall, located at 60 Pleasant Street, to pick up your water bill in person or to inquire about and pay your owing balance in person.
➡ You can also pick up your bill at Town Hall and either take it to the bank or use online banking to complete payment of your owing amount.
➡ You may also call Town Hall at 902-543-4651 to inquire about your balance and then make arrangements to pay that balance through your own online banking or in person at Town Hall.
For more details on all payment options, you can visit www.bridgewater.ca/payments.
