To be given first consideration by Council at regular meeting scheduled for 6:00PM on December 10th:
- Redesignate 144 Victoria Road from Low Density Residential to Comprehensive Residential
- Redesignate 126 Victoria Road and 229 York Street from Low Density Residential to Limited Commercial.
- Rezone 144 Victoria Road from I1 (Institutional) to R3 (Comprehensive Residential).
- Rezone 126 Victoria Road and 229 York Street from I1 (Institutional) to C7 (Neighbourhood Commercial)
- Amend the MPS (Neighbourhood Commercial Zone Policies) and the LUB (C7 zone) to allow for multiple unit dwellings of up to 4 units and 350 m2 of ground floor commercial space by development agreement; and, add a site-specific development policy for 126 Victoria Road and 229 York Street to limit scale and intensity of mixed-use residential and commercial development.
- Enter into a development agreement for 144 Victoria Road to permit the development of a 30-unit dwelling for affordable housing and limit the total number of units on the property to 34.
