An application for a rezoning was received by staff on November 29th, 2019 from the property owner of 12 Kensington Court, PID 60046786 (the “subject property”). The subject property is currently zoned Single Unit Residential (R1) and the owners are requesting to rezone the property to Two Unit Residential (R2) to enable a two-unit residential dwelling. The owners intend to construct the second residential unit in the existing basement.

that Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater give first consideration to the proposed map amendments of the Land Use By-law as contained in Document 20-010A (to rezone 12 Kensington Court from Single Unit Residential (Rl) to Two Unit Residential (R2)), subject to an offsetting agreement regarding wastewater being in place and tentatively schedule second reading and Public Hearing for April 27, 2020 during the regular meeting of Council.

Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater, approved this rezoning with the following motion, passed at its regular meeting of Town Council on May 11, 2020 with the following resolution:
that Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater give second and final consideration to the proposed map amendments of the Land Use By-law, to rezone 12 Kensington Court from Single Unit Residential (R1) to Two Unit Residential (R2), as contained in Appendix A of Document 20-010D.
