Bridgewater Town Council is considering a development agreement to construct 14 townhouse units in three blocks containing 7, 4 and 3 units, on the lands comprised of Lots 3-9 and the road parcel at Oakland Drive (Jubilee Rd). Each unit will be 1,365 square feet in size with 2-bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a driveway.
The subject properties have a pre-existing development agreement (2012) with the Town for a condominium development consisting of eight (8) single-storey semi-detached dwellings (16 units) off of a proposed private laneway. Construction phasing was outlined within the development agreement and consisted of 5 phases. To date, only two phases have been built. A remaining 14 units are approved under the current development agreement.

Take notice that on July 13, 2020, Council of the Town of Bridgewater passed a resolution approving a development agreement. This agreement will permit 14 townhouse units in three blocks containing 7, 4 and 3 units, on the lands comprised of Lots 3-9 and the road parcel at Oakland Drive (Jubilee Rd).
In accordance with Sections 247 and 249 of the Municipal Government Act, an aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or the Council of an adjacent municipality may appeal Council's decision to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board. Notice of appeal must be served on the Board within fourteen (14) days of the date of this advertisement.
