A request was made by Firkenstein to lease 3 parking spaces in the Town Centre Parking Lot (685 King Street) for an outdoor patio. On May 11, 2020 Council gave direction to prepare a 2-year lease agreement with Firkenstein for the 3 parking spaces and to make the necessary amendments to the Sidewalk Cafe By-law and the Land Use By-law to enable this use
During the process it has been determined a lease is not required; the amendments to the Sidewalk Cafe By-law and Land Use By-law will permit the use.
A Public Participation Meeting is at the discretion of Council and one has not been required.
The public input period has ended.
