Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use By-Law (LUB) amendments for 361 Victoria Rd

An application was received from Mario and Michaela Giammaria (the “applicant”) on June 22, 2023, requesting amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and the Land Use By-law (LUB) to facilitate a rezoning from the General Commercial (C5) Zone to the Two Unit Residential (R2) Zone at 361 Victoria Road. The applicant is requesting a change in zoning to accommodate a conversion of the existing commercial use to a residential use.

Passed Resolution:

that Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater direct staff to initiate the requested Municipal Planning Strategy amendment to redesignate the property at 361 Victoria Road in the form of a map amendment to the Future Land Use Map, from the current General Commercial Designation to the Low Density Residential Designation, including concurrent Land Use By-law amendments.
