Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) amendments to enable Land Use By-law (LUB) amendments and substantive amendments to an existing development agreement (DA) at 312 Dufferin Street

An application was received on March 8, 2023, submitted by Happy Cities (“the applicant”) to enable 167 units and 10,000 square feet of commercial development through development agreement (DA), which would represent Phase 1B of the Olde Town Hills Master Plan. The application is to amend the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use By-law (LUB) to expand the permissions for commercial developments in the Comprehensive Residential (R3) Zone and to substantively amend the existing development agreement, resulting in two separate development agreements for Phases 1A and 1B, at 312 Dufferin Street, PID 60031788 (“the subject property”).

that Town Council for the Town of Bridgewater direct staff to commence the planning analysis and report for the requested amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy to expand the permissions for commercial developments in the Comprehensive Residential (R3) Zone.
