Development Agreement for mixed use development - 641 King Street

An application for a development agreement at 641 King Street was received by staff on November 1, 2024 from Zzap Consulting Inc. on behalf of the John Howard Society of Nova Scotia. The application is to develop a mixed use building. The residential component would be comprised of 32 residential units composed of 24 market units and 7 units for JHSNS residents, and 1 unit with 11 individual bedrooms and bathrooms with shared kitchen and common space (for JHSNS residents). The non-residential uses would be ground floor commercial units, and community space that would be composed of office space, a community kitchen, a training venue/multipurpose event space, a community centre area, and a small gym.
